Dr. Thomas Runge Joins Kingchem as Senior Scientific Advisor

Kingchem’s CEO, Stephen Wang, is pleased to welcome Dr. Thomas Runge to Kingchem LLC as Senior Scientific Advisor. Dr. Runge will be based in Scotts, Michigan and at Kingchem’s commercial and administrative headquarters in Allendale, New Jersey (USA).

After completing his Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin (Madison, USA) with Prof. Barry Trost, Dr. Runge went on to establish his own impressive reputation in Process R&D at major global pharmaceutical corporations such as Upjohn, Pharmacia, and Pfizer.

Serving in technical and managerial positions, he led highly-matrixed, multinational teams providing clinical and commercial APIs under cGMP. He also supported routine commercial API production. Dr. Runge has traveled extensively, amassed a large number of technical publications, and developed strong experience in related areas like technology transfer, intellectual property protection, regulatory strategy, and potential business partnership due diligence investigations.
