Kingchem and Corporate Social Responsibility
Kingchem is a careful and responsible corporate citizen in protecting our employees, our community and our environment on a day to day basis. For that reason, the EHS departments at our production facilities receive the very highest levels of corporate support necessary concerning the knowledge, skills and planning needed to ensure safe, effective daily operations, as well as to effectively offer conformity management, risk evaluation, work approvals and CAPA responses, to name just a few.
We’re proud, for example, that the EHS department of our Fuxin, Liaoning plant goes beyond expectations to volunteer our plant to the city fire department as their site for chemical-emergency training around preparedness scenarios, such as HF/Cl2 leakage. But they also go beyond emergency drills to promote communication and cooperation with area public emergency, safety-supervision, environmental-protection and health bureaus and agencies in order to address preparedness concerns within the entire emergency-response network. At the same time, the plant also proactively manages waste to minimize the environmental impact of manufacturing operations with its on-site facilities, including upgraded waste-water treatment, chemical-scrubber air-treatment and waste-incineration facilities.
But don’t take our word for it. We’re happy to report that others believe in our Liaoning plant’s commitment, too. It’s not only passed the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Initiative (PSCI) audit, but also routinely passes audits by major international pharmaceutical and agricultural companies, as well.
Kingchem will always maintain a conscientious responsibility for our staff, our customers, customer stakeholders, surrounding environment, and society at large because we know our global community depends on it. That’s why we continually enhance goals around safety and green-chemistry processes, make upgrades to EHS, and continually improving employee training, good management practices and standards procedures.
