Kingchem & Bayer Celebrate Supplier Diversity Mentoring Program Graduation
Kingchem joined Bayer U.S. to celebrate at the recent graduation ceremony of the Monsanto legacy Supplier Diversity Mentoring Program (MSDMP) in North America. A formal ceremony was held at Bayer’s Creve Coeur campus in Missouri. The eight graduating suppliers, including Kingchem, was the third cohort of minority-business owners to graduate from the 12-month program.
The MSDMP is a development program designed for minority-certified business owners. It includes mentoring by executive leadership, on-site sessions with subject matter experts, supplier assessments, and access to third-party professional development coaching. The program is considered best-in-class based on recognition by Forbes magazine and supplier feedback.
The goal of the MSDMP is to help diverse suppliers increase profitability, further business development, and enhance management skills. While the MSDMP was designed around the needs of the mentees, and benefits them greatly, the strategic partnership also creates value which Bayer U.S. can then leverage across its organization and supply chains. In this way, the program is considered to also create value for Bayer U.S. and the communities it serves
Kingchem has been certified as a Minority Supplier by the New York and New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council since August of 2000.
