Kingchem Enters Monsanto’s Supplier Diversity Mentoring Program
Kingchem Joins Monsanto’s Supplier Diversity Mentoring Program
Kingchem Life Science is pleased to announce that it was one of only eight companies chosen to enter the third cohort of Monsanto’s Supplier Diversity Mentoring Program (MSDMP) beginning September 2017.
Monsanto has a long history of employing a diverse workforce, creating an inclusive environment, and working with diverse suppliers, while Kingchem has been certified as a Minority Supplier by the New York and New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council since August of 2000. The MSDMP program — designed for certified diverse businesses — is operated by Monsanto’s North America Supply Chain team.
Facets of the program include face-to-face mentoring by Monsanto’s executive leadership team, training sessions with subject matter experts, and assessments led by Monsanto’s Supplier Relationship Management team. As noted by a May 2017 Monsanto news release, the MSDMP is considered a best-in-class program based on feedback from diversity supplier organizations and recognition by the editors of FORTUNE magazine. Kingchem expects the year-long, intensive mentoring program to have a very significant impact on its overall growth and sustainability as a diverse supplier.
